The 1939 standard example is 3” long with text and Tom Mix logo designs on one side of the pearlized grips. Holds a single 2.5” long blade. This blade base reads “Quick Point St. Louis.” Entire piece extremely clean and glossy with minor tarnish mark on blade and tiny 1/16” dot off reverse grip lower edge. VF. The first seen variety is the same except for 2 aspects. First, there is no checkerboard bkg. behind the “TM” brand at center of checkerboard logo. Second, base of blade reads simply “U.S.A.” Blade a bit tarnished , o/w Mint. Unique in our 44+ years experience. Comes with 2.75x6-7/8” envelope with “Ralston Straight Shooters Checkerboard Square St. Louis, Mo.” return address label.
