The button from 1960 is a 1-7/16” litho with curl inscription “Key Note Promotions, Inc. New York 1, N.Y.” Button has a couple of scattered fine scratch lines but still has nice gloss and overall is Fine. This button came with a 8x12” certificate for “One Share” in the “The Lionel Railroad Company” although small print refers to “This Fictional Company” so this piece of paper is really a premium in spite of extensive text on the reverse that would imply otherwise. Reverse text states “Your ‘Property’ In ‘The Lionel Railroad Company’ Is The Biggest Little Railroad In The World, The Giant Layout On View At The Lionel Showroom In New York City…” However, with this certificate comes an actual 8x12” certificate for 100 shares in “The Lionel Corporation.” This actual stock certificate is dated for 1968 and has both cancellation holes along with various ink stamps and signatures on the reverse. The “one share” certificate has pair of vertical fold lines whereas the actual stock certificate does not. A rare group of 3 items.
