Item Description
1930s. Germany. 14” tall tin litho designed like lighthouse with cellophane-covered window has wire rod which attaches to top holding 2 Lindy-type planes with celluloid propellers. When wound, planes travel up and down while propellers turn. Tower has shellacked coating as made. Fine. Planes’ natural finish have darkened with age and one propeller is cracked. Fine. Works well when wound tight and given a slight push. Nice graphics. Comes with key.
