Item Description
1940s. 6x11x8.25” all box contains interesting wind-up toy consisting of 24” long folding arm which attaches to 8” tall lighthouse style tower. Wind-up airplane with built-in key and “Sky Rangers Dirigible” are attached to the 2 arms. By winding plane tightly and releasing, it travels along the ground at first and then actually takes off and flies in a circle parallel to the dirigible. Box has trace of lt. aging with a few small creases on top flaps. Displays Exc. The 4 toy components have nice graphics including detailed interior views of pilot at helm of dirigible, Navy men operating other machinery. Plane has exhaust coming from jets and die-cut pilot. Scattered tiny paint nicks but all pieces are bright and glossy as produced. VF. Has built-in key and working.
