Auction #201 - Part II
Item numbers 1409 through 3152 in auction 201
Item Description
Tin litho c. 1940s. 9.5” tall circus elephant stands atop 6” dia. base. Rod attaches to top of his trunk which holds 27” long bar with hooks on the end to hold 7” long clown and 6” long plane. Plane has built-in key at back. When wound and front lever is released, propeller spins and plane takes off and flies in a circle parallel to the clown. Works well. Toy has scattered paint nicks, one wing has had repair to break at fuselage. This break has been repaired with a thin line of solder, not that noticeable. However all pieces are bright and glossy as produced, clown has great graphics and elephant's blanket has bold "Unique Art" logo. Fine overall. Bright color and great design.
