10.25” tall painted and glazed ceramic is unmarked but by Wade Heath of England c. 1930s. Exceptional pitcher with large figural Big Bad Wolf handle design as if he is holding onto the top rim of the pitcher and peering down at the high relief images of the Three Pigs. Pigs are surrounded by trees and flowers with house and bkg. also done in relief design. Typical and minor craze lines only visible upon close inspection. Exc. Loaded with whimsical charm.
