13-1/8x16-5/8” wood frame has 11.5x15” opening with full color painting of Sam Trent the circus clown dipping paint brush in can held by Mr. Stubbs, the chimpanzee as Toby paints back of elephant in bkg. Comes with separate 4x11.75” sheet of acetate which has original hand-painted book cover title. Cover title sheet is a bit worn and missing a few tiny pieces around text edges. Good. Cover art is Exc. Ready for display. Disney released Toby Tyler on Jan. 21, 1960, based on the 1880 children’s book “Toby Tyler, Or Ten Weeks With A Circus” by James Otis Kaler.
