Item Description
13-5/8x19.75” wood frame has archival mat with 6.5x13-1/8” opening with image of Goofy hanging onto an octopus who is tightly holding onto water skis handle. Directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, the short was released in 1961 and was the last to feature Goofy as a solo star and the first time the Xerography animation technique was used in a Goofy cartoon. Aquamania basically combined Goofy’s 3 familiar areas in his career: sports, fatherhood and documentary subject. Pinto Colvig supplied the voice of Goofy. Two arms of octopus are missing a few small bits of paint. O/w Exc. Ready for display.
