Item Description
First is 2.5” tall large brass decoder badge from 1946 with plastic center wheel that includes reflective signaling device. Lt. general wear but nearly all luster remains. Second is whistle which also serves as a decoder reading on one side “Capt. Midnight’s SS 1947.” Opposite side has movable red wheel with letters to be matched with outer blue plastic rim holding the numbers. Numerous but tiny bite marks on the mouthpiece although still displaying Exc. Last is the final metal decoder issued by Capt. Midnight in 1949. Lt. wear but vast majority of luster remaining. The tiny brass key used to change the code setting is not included. Last is a 1989 Ovaltine Capt. Midnight commemorative item. It has a narrow silver luster expandable ring base while the top is a large and thick bronze luster metal plate with a high relief knob at the center used to change the letter and number combinations printed around it. Text on this reads “Ovaltine Secret Decoder Ring.” Mint.
