Item Description
Brass ring with adjustable bands shows a batter on each side standing upon crossed bats. Ring top has high relief baseball design reading “Baseball Centennial” with dates on the raised image of a baseball “1839-1939.” This ring was issued in 1938 as a General Mills premium for The Jack Armstrong radio show. They recorded only 46, 501 distributed. The following year Quaker Cereals used the remaining supply as a premium. One of only 6 examples we’ve had over the years. Superb luster with just the very tiniest loss off the lower outer band.
