Premium comic book from Heinz Food is 6.75x10.5” and from 1955. Comic is brown on the interior covers and has a couple of small tape repairs plus nicks on cover edges and basically just comes along with the following scarce premium. With the comic comes 1-7/8” tall fabric with bar pin at top and gold name “Captain Gallant” at the middle suspending a silver luster .75” replica of a French Foreign Legion award with military symbols marked at center with letters “GRI” on one side while reverse has flame emblem and name “Captain Gallant.” Originally issued with bar pin on the back side but fabric apparently came loose and piece has been neatly re-stitched although with pin on the top edge of the fabric rather than the back side. One of a series of 3 different and all are quite scarce. c. 1955.
