Item Description
11x14” black wood frame has double mat with opening of 5x7” around set of 2 enameled metal pins 1.5” to 2” tall. Relief-mounted to bkg. designed like the one-sheet poster for the 1962 short “Symposium On Popular Songs.” Short was hosted by Ludwig who invited his audience into his mansion where he tells them about popular music through the years. Pins are of Ludwig playing piano keys and boy and girl on opposite sides of a jukebox. At bottom center is 1” medallion pin with image of Mickey and text “Disney’s Pin Trading Around The World.” Issued for March 27, 2004 event held at Walt Disney World Resort. Extremely limited edition of just 25 and issued at $125. It was an instant sell-out. Artist was Alex Maher. Comes with certificate and original box. Mint and ready for display. A much sought-after item in the pin collecting community. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch and Ted Hake.
