Item Description
5x9.5x10” tall wood toy piano. 1930s. Back has ink stamp “Mfg. By Marks Bros. Boston Mass. U.S.A. Walt Disney Enterprises Patented Sept. 1, 1936.” Complete with separate attached pair of die-cut cardboard figures of Mickey and Minnie which dance as keys are struck, this also produces musical notes. Illustrated panel above the keys depicts Mickey and Minnie singing, song book is at center. Bkg. scene behind the figures depicts Horace, Clarabelle, Pluto and Fiddler Pig singing, dancing and playing instruments. Mickey and Minnie figures have tiny trace of wear. Fine. Backdrop is VF. Keys show moderate wear with some aging as does panel above keys. VG. Overall Fine. Scarce . Wonderful graphics. Great design.
