Item Description
Large 12x18.5x2” deep box contains complete 22-piece tin litho set ©1937. Ohio Art set #638S “pink.” Box lid features nice art of Snow White serving the Dwarfs tea along with repeated images of rabbits and owls. Noticeable box aging and moderate scattered wear including edge creases. Lid has 3 corner splits with tape repair to interior, 4th corner split without repair. Plain box bottom also has some edge split repairs but complete with insert. Box VG. Largest piece of the set is 8x10” serving tray. This six-serving set also has 1.25” tea cups, 2.5” dia. saucers and 4” dia. plates as well as tea pot with lid, open sugar and creamer. All pieces feature different images of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs including them playing instruments, seated around the table, etc. Some tiny scattered pinpoint paint nicks as boxed but set remains unused, totally bright and glossy. Overall Exc. and as nice as these tea sets come. Rare as boxed, the only boxed example we’ve offered in our 44 years.
