Item Description
6x8x8.75" tall beautifully painted and glazed ceramic. c. 1939. Very impressive jar depicts the coachman with whip and sword at his left, right hand holds a pipe. Trace of aging to interior and underside, none of which affects outside appearance. Piece did have some small paint flakes/chips which have all been professionally repaired. Appearance remains bright, glossy and Exc. for display. One of the rarest and most desirable Disney ceramic items. Only the third we've offered in our 44 years, the previous 2 examples (which also had minor flaws) each sold for $4,000.
