8.75x12x2.5" deep box contains partial Whitman set No. 2170, ©1936. Box features a 5.5" tall separate die-cut cardboard Mickey Mouse figure attached to the lid. Scattered wear mostly in the form of surface paper rubs along edges, few light corner creases but box remains bright and corners are tight. Fine. Box notes "256 Pages Of Pictures To Color." This box contains 7 different signatures in tablet format with 32 pages per signature. This comes to a total of 224 pages so one signature of 32 pages is missing as well as the generic crayons. Pages feature art from a variety of different Disney Whitman books. Top page of one signature has a 1.5" margin tear, o/w contents are unused and essentially N. Mint/Mint with just the slightest trace of aging. Very rare with only about 3 known examples.
