Item Description
14x22" cardboard poster for Mar. 31, 1956 or 1962 as poster is undated. A talented jazz pianist and composer known for his swing playing and ballads, he is best known for his ballad “Misty.” Poster itself gives Newsweek testimonial “The Man For Whom The Piano Was Invented.” Poster shows bw photo of Garner playing the piano. Concert took place at the Morris Civic Auditorium in South Bend, IN. Poster was printed by Artcraft Litho & Ptg. Co., Inc. Poster has .75” tear at lower right corner and ft. aging with corner tip wear and pin holes at upper corners. Fine.
