18x22.75” stiff cardboard poster for Jul. 3-6, 1980 concerts at the Providence Civic Center in Providence, RI sponsored by Narrgansett Beer. Headliners were: Mel Torme, Sarah Vaughn, Herbie Hancock and Nancy Wilson. Other performers included The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Stan Getz Quintet, Woody Herman & The Young Thundering Herd, Bill Evans Trio and Mel Louis Jazz Orchestra. Poster has blue art images of each headliner and advertises “Free Street Fair! All Day Fun! Crafts! Food! Outdoor Music!” Poster has some corner tip wear. Fine/VF. Great red, white and blue patriotic design for July 4th concert event.
