Item Description
15.5x26.75” mat display holds five 2.5x4” – 6x7-7/8” paste-ups for 8-track cartridge and cassette tape covers for “Hendrix - Band Of Gypsys” Capitol Records release. This was a live album recorded Dec. 31, 1969 – Jan. 1, 1970 and featured “Band Of Gypsys” led by Hendrix after the dissolution of his previous band “The Jimi Hendrix Experience.” This album was released just 3 months before Hendrix’s death in 1970. Lt. aging at margins of 8-track cover but Exc. overall. Nicely matted and would make for an Exc. display.
