Item Description
Lot of three limited edition 17.5x23.5” high quality lithographs reproducing tour posters of The Rolling Stones. Each ©1994 Rolling Stones. Published by Musicom International. First lithograph is for “Australian Tour 1973” and features large image of Australia with tongue logo swallowing airplane. This was part of the larger “Pacific Tour” of 1973 and took place Jan.-Feb., 1973. 4650/5000. Two tiny faint spots at lower left corner but o/w N. Mint. Second litho is for performance “At Cardiff And Pembroke Castle” in Wales on Sept. 22, 1973. Large castle in bkg. with Welsh dragon with Rolling Stones tongue/mouth. Art by K. Burness. 3746/5000. Last lithograph is for June-July 1978 US tour and features Rosie the Riveter- like woman with Rolling Stones logo on front of coveralls pointing and American vehicles following her direction. Art by Stanislaw Zargorski. 3830/5000.. N. Mint. Would look great framed.
