7x17" wood frame has thin archival mat with opening revealing 3-3/8x13-7/8" ornate ribbon has 42-line poem devoted to peace and friendship by noted poet Alfred Tennyson (1809-1892). Large exhibition building is shown just beneath poem, along with text "The Ode By Alfred Tennyson On The Opening Of The Exhibition 1862." Made by C. Newsome Coventry, England. Fabric has a few lt. stains, some lt. wear here and there. Overall VG/Fine. Ready for display.
