Item Description
18x24" silkscreened steel sign w/superb graphics including art of smiling Oriole Bird about to swing bat. Center of top and bottom each have drilled hole for hanging. Memorial Stadium was built in 1922 and became a baseball park in 1944 when the Baltimore Orioles moved in. It was rebuilt in 1949 and completed in 1950, w/an upper deck added in 1954. The Orioles went professional in 1954 and played at Memorial Stadium until 1991. Scattered scratches here and there w/a few small areas of missing paint. Overall Fine. Superb display piece.
