Item Description
c. early 1950s. 7 1/8" x 7.25" x 7" deep thin cardboard box has paper label on front panel titled "Wilson Famous Player" with art image of ball player in action. Box in center has ink stamp "Preacher Roe A2964"with the 4 in a circle. Roe played between 1938 and 1965 but had his best years between 1949 and 1953. He pitched for the Dodgers when they won the pennant three years and was an All Star player each season from 1949 to 1952. Box color has some fade w/moisture marks. Label has some dust soil and is missing bits of paper around edges. Box and label overall VG. Has original packing paper inside.
