c. 1920s. 4.5x26.5" painted tin rack style sign w/tin litho top holds 26 removable wooden sample blocks, each 1-5/8x1.75". Presumably meant to be taken home by customers for color matching. Each block has applied decal color names. Colors include: Jade Green, Holland Blue, Golden Oak, Mahogany, Old Ivory, Chinese Yellow, Tobacco Brown, French Gray, etc. Metal rack has color rubs along edges, Fine. Sample blocks have some wear but overall Fine. Interesting concept. Nice display item.
