Item Description
All are 1930s. Each is 8x10" glossy w/caption on reverse. First photo shows happy well dressed couple with Indian between them holding glass in air. 1938 handwritten caption on reverse "Sallie Sibley Kenneth Reichle At Intercollegiate Club" with "Detroit News" ink stamp. Second shows woman standing outside cigar store with Indian w/paper caption on reverse "Minniehaha Cunningham's Cigar Store Indian And Mrs. Marguerite L. Holland-Minnie is 200 Years Old". Dated 1934. Third photo shows woman standing in lobby next to Indian who is looking into the distance. 1937 caption on reverse "Francis Forbes, Information Desk, Detroit Institute Of Art Posing With Cigar Store Indian.". Photos have lt. handing creases, most noticeable on second and third photos. Second photo has .5" barely noticeable tear at bottom left margin edge. Overall VG/Fine. Nice photos.
