Item Description
All are 1930s. Each is glossy, sizes range from 7x9" to 7.5x10.5". First two have captions on back, third has caption at bottom of front. First photo is from April 7, 1937 w/caption on back "When The Steamer Lurline Docked In Los Angeles Harbor Today They Unloaded Amelia Earhart's Plane That Was Wrecked During A Takeoff At Luke Field, In The Hawaiian Islands On An Attempted Flight Around The World". Second photo is portrait photo by Bachrach w/caption along w/newspaper clipping which reads "At High Speed. Amelia Earhart Who Flew At 174 Miles An Hour At Detroit Yesterday". Third photo shows her with "Captain G. W. Haskins Looking Over Experimental Motor Super Charger In Purdue Laboratory". Dated April 21, 1936. Photos have lt. handling creases, most noticeable on portrait photo which has also been trimmed around edges making this VG. The other two VF. Nice images.
