Item Description
c. late 1920s. 9.25x11" thin cardboard with pair of die-cut holes at top for hanging. Has nice photo in center with Spirit of St. Louis flying and classic photo of smiling Lindbergh at right. Large text at bottom reads "He Does Not Drink, Smoke, Chew Or Swear.---Did Not Allow Tobacconists To Use His Name In Tobacco Advertisements." Poster number 1 published by Finnell Sales Service North Manchester, Indiana. Lightly faded with a few handling creases around margins and some lt. dust soil, left side has a few faint lt. moisture marks. Overall Fine. Very interesting Lindbergh item. First we've seen in our 45 years.
