Item Description
4x8x12" small leather suitcase made and purchased in Calcutta has ink drawing on top of sexy girl lying on beach in 2-piece suit. Serviceman has written his name, rank no. and places he has visited on top. Warren B. Kegerise. Serial #33622283. He visited Africa, India and Burma in 1944 and back to Burma in 1945. Underside has additional art of him in uniform surrounded by three women in short dresses. Suitcase made by Evers Factory Calcutta. The inner linen lining is stamped "Calcutta Mills LTD". Thick leather case is hand sewn w/brass tacks and hardware. Some wear to corners. Leather handle is gone, scattered wear w/color rubs around edges and splits at lower right corner seam of lid. Overall Good. Nicely done.
