Item Description
c. 1940s. 10x20x3/8" thick chrome accent metal frame holds reverse painted silvered glass w/die-cut slots holding ice cream flavors printed on thin cardboard. Includes Vanilla Fudge, Raspberry, Choc.-Marshmallow, and Butter Crunch. Die-cut slots on reverse allows user to change flavors available. Reverse side has nice embossed brass maker tag w/art image of sundae and milkshake glass w/text "G. P. Gundlach & Co. Service To The Dairy Industry Exclusively Cincinnati 3, Ohio". Original envelope on back held flavor strips. Top has hanger in place for display. Minor wear to plating on frame, a few age spots on reverse painted silvering. Lt. aging to flavor strips. Fine overall. Great design. Wonderful display item.
