Item Description
7x9.25" four-page glossy color comic titled "Superman's Buddy" and originally issued w/boxed costume. This is the earlier of two editions © 1954 NCP Inc. Great specialty story of a young boy who receives the Superman costume as a birthday gift. He puts the suit on and aspires to be Superman although he falls short. With the help of Superman, he becomes friends w/bully who was out to get him. Story ends by the boy saying "Remember Only Superman Can Fly." Scattered margin aging, front center edge has .5" tear. Comic remains quite clean and Fine. Scarce.
