Item Description
1948 sheet music autographed in 1981. 20-7/8x28" sheet of foam core w/red surface paper has pair of 12.5x19" open pieces of sheet music signed in blue ballpoint pen. Top one has inscription "To Billy Jo Philips-Let's Try To Always Feel Young-Eddie Kean", bottom sheet music has inscription "To Billy Jo Philips-Thanks For Being A Fan! Eddie Kean". Sheet music is ©1948 Children's Songs Inc., NYC, NY. Reverse side of foam core has original mailing envelope addressed to recipient in Fredericksburg, VA with type written return address for Edward Kean w/a Miami, Florida address. Postmarked June 13, 1981. Portion of inscription on "Yell Howdy Doody" music has a few small smears, but is still legible. Sheet music itself has a few corner creases. Overall bright and Fine/VF. Kean is also noted for writing the Howdy Doody Show theme song and also helped write some of the character skits over the years, between 1947 and 1955. Wonderful display item. Comes with Hake's COA.
