Item Description
c. 1940's Walter Lantz 5.75" long cardboard box has nice lid graphics of actual watch face showing Woody running saying "Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha". Has die-cut cardboard insert holding 7.5" long original vinyl on leather band with chrome accent case in center with dial showing Woody running and laughing as shown on lid. Both lid and dial images have ©WLP text. Insert is designed to have art images of watch hands cut out and attached with some thumb tacks to watch face on box cover to help teach children how to tell time. Lid has scattered moisture marks with some color loss. VG. Insert has lt. dust soil with bit of tanning at left side. Fine. Original band has lt. wear but overall Fine. Case has near full luster. Dial is clean and watch is running. Exc. A rare boxed watch, our last two in high grade each sold for over $2,000. Nice design.
