1924. Made by Ferdinand Strauss Corp. New York. No. 41. 2.75x4x9" tall thin cardboard box has nice graphics on front and back showing Boob dancing signed at lower right by cartoonist R.L. Goldberg. Side panels each feature a different daily comic strip with Boob. Box has light but even overall age tanning VF. 8.75" tall tin litho wind-up toy depicts Boob standing full figure with note on his back "I'm Boob McNutt R. L. Goldberg". When wound, Boob's separate upper torso moves back and forth, arms swing and toy moves about. One arm has solder repair only noticeable from under side of arm. Other arm is total replacement. A few scattered lt. surface scratches. Fine. Bright color and great design. Box is extremely scarce.
