Item Description
3-7/8x6.25". c. 1898. Below name reads "Colonel Volunteers (Rough Riders)." Lithograph by Buek N.Y. Back has lengthy text explaining the features and benefits of "Fairbank's Fairy Soap/Pure/White/Floating." Also explains details of free booklet called "Fairy Tales" available by sending five soap wrappers to company. Ironic that this is a Roosevelt/Fairbanks trade card six years prior to the 1904 Republican ticket of Roosevelt and Fairbanks for president and vice president. There is no known connection between Charles Fairbanks and this soap company. Tiny trace of handling wear. Otherwise very Fine.
