Stern & Co. the publisher of Seymour Eaton's famous titles "The Roosevelt Bears-Their Adventures and Travels" (1905) and "More About Teddy B and Teddy G" (1906). One of the two books includes the illustration on this mug. Scene shows them working on their car with caption "We've Broken Something, Said TEDDY-G./It's Underneath;Get Down And See." Rim and handle have speckle gold accents. Natural tiny craze lines on the glaze with moderate tanning on bottom right front and on reverse to right of the handle on both exterior and interior.
