Mid-1940s. 8.5x21.25" wood frame with glass has 7.5x20.25" opening revealing nice thin cardboard sign with photo at upper left and text promoting radio show on Blue Network "Horace Heidt's Orchestra Monday Nights C. W. T. 9:30-10 O'clock P.M." Has art image of microphone with musical notes next to photo. Text at lower left "Music-Laughs-Thrills". Right side has large Hires logo. Exc. as framed. Ready for display. Horace Heidt (1901-1986) was a big band leader, pianist, and radio and television personality. From 1932 to 1953 his radio show was one of the most popular on the air. The 1941 movie "Pot O' Gold" was based on his radio show which ran from 1939 to 1941.
