Item Description
7.75x10.75" embossed hard cover with 132 slick paper pages titled “The Mirror” for Sharon High School in Sharon, PA. Page 127 has nice 4.75x6" ad with photo of Boris Karloff as the Frankenstein monster holding Elsa Lanchester’s hand in laboratory. Text beneath photo “Watch For Date The Bride Of Frankenstein With Elsa Lanchester And Boris Karloff To Be Shown At The Gable Theatre The Only Showing In Sharon”. The movie was released April 22, 1935. Yearbook has bit of dust soiling to covers, applied actual small oval mirror at upper left of front cover has some silvering loss/aging. Lower right corner of front cover incised with original owner’s name. Pages have some lt. aging with some dust soil, numerous students have signed their names in ink by their pictures. Overall Fine with Exc. ad. A very interesting and obscure item for the Universal Monster collector. First we have seen in our 45 years.
