Item Description
4.75x8" semi-glossy photo with classic image of Chapin seated on stage wearing denims playing guitar has bold black ink autograph in blank bottom portion. Left side of photo has a faint fingerprint smudge otherwise Exc. Autographed photo was obtained in person in February 1980, one year before his death in traffic accident. Comes with four page folder for his appearance at York College in York, PA, and nice 1983 letter on his stationary from his business manager thanking editor Harry McLaughlin of the Patriot News for his offer to send copy of his interview with Chapin. All items are Exc. Includes newspaper clipping dated February 22, 1980 with article on personal appearance by McLaughlin. From the collection of newspaper editor Harry McLaughlin and comes with Hake’s COA.
