Item Description
11-5/8x12.25" cardboard c. mid 1930s. Has image of Andy Gump with knees that fold in center extending his length an additional 4.25". Right side of display has instructions for store owner to set up display with photo image of it in use. Reverse shows various uses for display including next to cash register, in store window, on top of a display on floor. Made by American Advertising and Research Corp. Chicago, Ill. Comes with three die-cut thin cardboard comic strip character dummies, each 11x20" for Andy Gump, Herby, and Harold Teen. Each has full figure for punching out plus punch-out accessory pieces for mouth, eyes, nose and chest. Display has moderate to heavy dust soil with a few moisture marks here and there. Overall Good. Puppets have a few loose perforations but all are complete and Fine/VF. Nicely designed.
