Item Description
c. 1930's. 11X11 5/8" thin art board has 10 1/8" diameter India ink border line with 6x6" thin art board applied to center with wonderful India ink art of the Nebbs family including mother Fanny, father Rudolph, daughter Betsy and son "Junior" playing with dog. Art is signed at bottom by writer and artist Sol Hess and W. A. Carlson. Lower right has hand-lettered text "Mfrd. by Parisian Novelty Co., Chicago, Sole Licensees". Has attached partial tissue overlay which has been hand-colored for guide. We are not sure if this particular art was actually used but from a 1930s series of character mirrors.
