Item Description
Three items. 7/8x2.75x3.75" die-cut thin cardboard box has title on top "Number 1108 White Squadron" ©1896 by Cincinnati Game Co. Contains complete deck of 52 cards. Each has nice art image on back of White Squadron ship with image of sailor at top and bottom. Cards feature different photos of various ships along with submarines and torpedo boats. Ships include Maine, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Mackenzie, Terror, and Baltimore. Inside lid has instructions for game. Box has lt. scattered wear. Cards are unused and N. Mint. Great designs. "U.S. Battleship Iowa" empty box is 4-7/8x7.5x1-3/8" deep thin cardboard with nice litho image of battleship steaming along at sea. ©1896 by Koerner & Hayes. Box is worn with some foxing and dust soil with a few scuffs. VG. Six souvenir spoons are each 4.25" long high detailed silver plated metal made by Standard and come in original box bottom. Bowls of each spoon have image of ship. Ships include Maine, Iowa, Oregon, Massachusetts, Indiana, and Texas. Box bottom is heavily worn. VG. Spoons show moderate tarnish but could be cleaned to N. Mint appearance. Interesting group of White Fleet items.
