Item Description
8x11x1.5" deep box contains 18 hard plastic figures, each 2" to 2.5" tall in various colors. Box also has a 5.25x11" diecut marquee box flap. Made by Lido Toy Products c. 1951-1953. #2103. Diecut marquee has image of raised spaceship flying through air w/Captain Video looking on and space landscape in bkg. Box is designed to look like a monitor w/cellophane window (which is missing) showing spacemen which are rubber banded to cardboard insert. Box bottom has perforated "ray gun" designed to be folded for toy use. Also on bottom is perforated cardboard "Captain Video Ranger" badge. Below "screen" are dials w/names of planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus written underneath. Box has lt. wear, some edge splits at flap corners, all of which are intact. Lid has three .5" tears to diecut man looking at "screen." Diecut marquee has a .75" tear which has a tape repair on reverse. Box is Fine w/Mint contents.
