Item Description
13.75x16.75" cardboard mount with Leopold New Haven Connecticut photographer stamp at lower right has photo in center showing many men dressed as convicts with “03" numbers on hat and large 1903 banner in background in front of ornately designed building. Although wearing convict style striped jackets, pants and hats, close inspection shows all men have white dress shirts w/bowties/ties on under jackets. Possibly posed in front of their lodge’s national headquarters. Mount has some wear around edges with rounded corner tips and 3/8" piece gone at center top edge. Fine. Photo itself is Exc. A bizarre yet interesting photo. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
