Item Description
5.75x8.5x1.5" deep box is c. 1910. Lid top and bottom front end panel have nice art logo of laughing Buster & Tige playing tug-o-war with pair of stockings and left and right side panels have art of each reading a book. Made by Buster Brown Hosiery Mills Chattanooga, Tennessee. Box has scattered surface and edge wear with some color rubs here and there. Near Fine appearance. Box contains full complement of six pairs of socks, each is size 6.5 with three in beige and three in light green. Each pair has it's own paper sticker at top with graphics of Buster and Tige playing tug-o-war and each group of three is also wrapped in an additional wrapper which has the same art. Sock material shows aging, otherwise contents and labels are VF. Nice original old store stock.
