Milton Bradley #4134 ©1928. 5.5x7.5x1" deep box has wonderful lid graphics by noted cartoonist Milt Gross, famous for various Jewish dialect books and comic strips. Lid has nice graphics of Gross's "Nize Baby" riding bicycle down spine of dinosaur into pelican's open mouth as caveman at left jumps in midair. Lid has subtitle "De High Sputts Of Hemerika Frum Kreestopher Kullumbus To Cholls Leendboig". Box lid has lt. wear around edges with tiny bits of paper gone from corner tips. Fine. Contents include 5-1/8x7-1/8" stiff paper covered book with 16 pages telling history of America in dialect text with nice front cover art of pilot in "Speerits From St. Looie" plane saying "Nize Baby?" as Christopher Columbus character says "Hm-Don't Esk!!". Last page of book lists eight other "Bradley Cartoon Games". Book has 1" moisture mark at bottom of inside cover and first page, otherwise Fine. Boxed insert contains 117 assorted playing cards, each 1-5/8x2". Text on cards include: "A Texicab, A Frash Lubster, A Bottle Hink", and many more. Object of game is to draw cards and have text match spaces on history story inside book. Cards and book are lightly but evenly tanned. Overall Fine. Rare. The only Milt Gross game we know of as not much merchandise was produced for his comic strip and cartoons.
