7.75"dia. c. late 1920s with superb graphics which appear to be by Harrison Cady though not signed. Center has Peter, family and friends at picnic table with two children in background playing early radio which has speaker horn blaring musical notes. Border of plate has art images of 13 different characters from Thornton Burgess famous children's books which were illustrated by Cady including Mr. & Mrs. Owl, Caleb Cottontail, Danny Meadow Mouse, Grandfather Frog, Waldo Wren, Prickly Porky, Bobby Raccoon, Jerry Muskrat, Reddy Fox, Happy Jack, and Buster Bear. A few tiny dots of missing color, most of extreme rim has wear. Overall VG/Fine. Wonderful design with superb art.
