©1908 Frederick A. Stokes Co. 10x15" with thin cardboard covers and 64 pages reprinting color 1904-1906 Sunday strips. Features Frederick Opper’s "Maud The Mule" and "Happy Hooligan" as well as Rudolph Dirks "Katzenjammer Kids". This is the first comic book to compile more than one newspaper strip together. Cover has some dust soil with bit of lt. wear around edges, blank back cover has a few moisture marks at left side but covers are overall Fine with no creases. Inside pages are clean and VF. Last inside page has wonderful graphic promo ad for “Stokes’ Comic Juveniles” showing characters including Little Sammy Sneeze, Buster Brown and Tige, Sam and His Laugh, Maud, Happy Hooligan, Katzenjammers and others. Overstreet highest grade listed price is Fine $2000. Rare. Historical with high quality printing.
