Item Description
27x41" for 12-chapter serial released by Mascot in 1931. Nice art has Bimi the ape man being directed by man in pith helmet to help man on ground near lake. Poster lists Boris Karloff first in cast. Storyline has Robert Grant, framed for a coup in the Indian state of Ranjapur, escaping from prison to Africa in search of the real villains. He meets Sheik Mustapha (Played By Boris Karloff) who has evidence to clear him and find the location of a secret diamond mine. Arthur McLaglen played Bimi as shown on poster. Text includes "A Spine Tingling Serial In Twelve Stirring Chapters". Poster has three horizontal gentle curls with small 1" tear at top near right edge. Will mat and frame to near Exc. appearance. Nice design.
