Four items. Includes three Leo Nowak postcards each 4.25x5-7/8" published in the 1990s. One features wonderful Art Deco style pin-up painting from 1940 with sexy blond in white gown winking at viewer titled "Alluring", second features 1940 painting with somewhat bored-looking woman wearing bra and loose panties with high heels sitting on porch of city apartment building on hot evening titled "Contemplation" and third painting is c. 1960s showing pair of scantily clad pretty girls titled "Ballerinas". Each is signed in clear area with nice black ink 1.25" "Leo Nowak" signature. All are postally unused and Exc. Nowak joined the Joe Shuster Studio in Sept. 1940 and remained at the studio until early 1943. Fourth item is 10x13" Superman print ©1975 National Periodical Publications Inc. with nice art of Superman flying full figure above Earth. Bottom left has nice 1-3/8x1-7/8" black ink signature "To Charlie From-Curt Swan 6/75". Exc. Swan began work on Superman penciling the 1948 issue of Superman # 51, the fifth issue of Superboy in 1949, and drew the Superman daily comic strip from 1956-1960. He worked on the Superman line including Action Comics, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olson, and World's Finest Comics until the 1980s. Nice group of items for two great Golden Age and Silver Age artist who didn't get much credit during their lives. Comes with Hake's COA.
