Item Description
Both are c. 1950s glazed ceramic featuring mascot Chief Wahoo. First is 7.5" tall overall smiling full figure holding bat. Made by Stanford Pottery from their "Gold Tooth" series. Right ankle has repair and has .25" flake off back but otherwise bright and glossy with no paint wear. Second figure is 5.5" wide 6.75" tall overall with Chief Wahoo with real feather in his hair holding bat standing next to baseball which serves as bank. Front has incised text "Cleveland Baseball Club" and back has incised text "CBG Gibbs-Conner & Co". Top of bat has a few paint rubs and black hair has a few minor color touch ups. Neither bank has coin trap. VF appearance and great for display.
